Happy Daughters Day

One morning the kids and I were eating breakfast, and Noelle asked me a question. And this is how it all started :)

Noelle: "Mommy, is it Happy Girls Day?"
Me: puzzled look on my face....
Noelle: "You know like Happy Father's Day?"
Me: "Oh, you mean Happy Daughter's Day?"
Noelle: big smile....
Me: "You know what! It is Happy Daughter's Day!"
Noelle: "Are you talking about ME?!?"
Me: "Yes, yes I am."
Noelle: "Well, you have to get me a gift card!"
Me: "Oh yeah. Well we will have to go and celebrate when daddy gets home too."

So June 25th we had Happy Daughters Day, and she decided on Chick-fil-A and a trip to grapevine mills to see the crocodile and ride the carousel! And the gift card she was talking about was at the salon where I got my sister a gift card for a pedicure a couple days before. But really she just wanted a sucker because they have a big bowl of them there :)
